On a caravan holiday in Clacton as an 11 year old, I heard a track that completely blew me away and had the hairs on my head tingling. The track in question was Farley Jackmaster Funk - "Love Can’t Turn Around". Since then I’ve had the musical bug.

Growing up as a teenager going to "Guy" and "R Kelly" concerts and buying "Blues & Soul" and "Right On" magazines, I was truly hooked. Nowadays you will find me at the Indigo or Jazz Cafe catching a show.

I started DJing at 15 and have been doing it ever since. From bars through to wedding venues, although I prefer playing my Soul & Funk vibe, if truth be known!

Since then it’s been my hobby exploring the DNA of tracks, and for example the track that gave me my passion for music, uses a sample from Isaac Hayes - "I Can’t Turn Around".

I first attended Caister in May 2005 and have been going ever since. The people, music and vibe make it something special other weekenders can’t quite match.
