I became a dj at the ripe old age of 21, i was working in several venues at the same time these included,… the spencers arms, hornchurch…white hart, romford both  in sunny essex I was also the resident dj in, the two puddings pub, the broadway night club, & the lotus rooms all in stratford east london, my music policy in them days was strictly soul boy anthems.
I have also played many one night slots in various clubs and pubs, from my home town in hornchurch, all the way to kent, hertfordshire,colchester,southend not many places I haven’t been to really at least it keeps me busy.
My musical taste has always been the same, I am pretty narrow minded really, I love soul & jazz/funk and classic grooves I can honestly say that I do not like pop music at all and I am not a real lover of slow music either I love music with a beat and a bass line.
I grew up listening to the likes of the whispers,bros johnson,lonnie liston smith & roy ayers who is my favourite artist, I have attended at least 35 caister soul weekends,I even managed to go twice in a week once because it sold out so quick, best soul event i ever went was the national soul day which was held at knebworth park what a day that was, even got to play football with eddy grant.
I am still going strong now at ** years old playing all over the place, also doing my bit for charity, I am promoting charity soul nights, and playing at them and thankfully they all seem to sell out pretty fast.
I have been listening to soul connexion for a while now and I am really pleased to be a member of a fantastic team….GROOVE ON.
